4cm X 6cm Platinized Titanium Anode

Platinized titanium anodes are titanium anodes coated with platinum or platinum metal oxides. Platinum plated titanium anodes act as inert anodes, which are nonconsumable and durable. These anodes are insoluble in the electrolyte when present in electrolysis. Unlike carbon anodes, platinized titanium anodes do not corrode during aluminum reduction and do not release CO2, but are pretty pure oxygen.

Platinized titanium anode has been used for electroplating, cathodic protection, electrical closure/chlorate and perchlorate production, ectro chlorination, and sewage treatment.
