It is known that the anodes coated with a layer of RuO2 and TiO2, based on the knowledge from Dimensionally Stable Anode (DSA) technology are widely used for chlorine production in the Chlor-alkali industry. The anodes coated with layers of IrO2 and Ta2O5 are commercially used for oxygen evolution reaction from acidic media in electroflotation and metal electrowinning processes.
