MMO anodes are manufactured using titanium which meets ASTM B265 Grade 1 or 2 standards. The Mixed Metal Oxide coatings are electrically conductive which activates the titanium substrate allowing it to function as an anode. MMO anode provides a consistently low resistance anode; the titanium substrate remains nearly constant throughout the design life of the anode. It can be used in soil, fresh water, brackish water, and seawater application.
