Solid Titanium Platinum Plated Anodes and Mesh Type

Titanium platinum plated anodes are also used in the electroplating process, it is made of solid titanium substrate coated with precious metal platinum and the thickness of the plating layer is generally 1-5um, it can be fully plated or partially plated. This platinum coated titanium anode has the feature of a uniform fine coating surface, firm bonding, large output current, and long service life. The titanium platinum plated anodes' service life depends on the working medium's current density (electrolyte) and the anode. The current density should not exceed 75A/dm2 so that the wear of the platinum layer is small and the anode lifetime can also be estimated.

Solid titanium platinum plated anodes have been used in water ionizer chamber electrolysis, electro-dialysis with polarity reversal, electrosynthesis, cathodic protection with high current densities, for example, seawater intakes, heat exchanger & condensers, jetties & tanks, water heaters. It is mainly used in electroplating industries such as precious metal plating, gold plating, rhodium plating, sensing elements, electro galvanizing, hard chrome plating, and rotogravure printing.
